2007 Premier and Historic Rally Spectating Information

Event Information and Stage Times

The 2007 RalliTrak Premier Rally is a very compact forest stage rally running on Sunday 28th October. The only location where spectators can see the cars in action is at Sherwood Pines Forest Park which the event visits twice during the day.

Please only use this venue and park in the car parks detailed. This is at the insistence of the landowners and the police and to minimise PR issues which severely affect rallying in this area.

Start and Finish - Mansfield Civic Centre
The first Historic car will leave the start line at 10.00am with the others following at one minute intervals. The first modern rally car will leave approx 5 minutes after the last Historic car. The cars are due to return from 3.00pm onwards for the results and awards presentation.

Spectators [on foot] are welcome but please do not attempt to park in the Civic Centre Car Park or on the approach road which is a Fire Brigade and Church access.

Mansfield Civic Centre is located near the junction of the A617 and the A6009 opposite the New Tesco Superstore. Toilets and refreshments are available

SS2 - Sherwood Pines
Cars will start SS2, Sherwood Pines, from 10.49am and continue until approximately 12.20pm. Parking is at the Sherwood Pines Visitor Centre which gives easy access to a number of locations on the stage. (Map Ref: 120 / 613639). Follow the signs off the B6030 into the forest and then follow the signs to the Visitors Car Park. NB: One way system in operation. Toilets and Refreshments. A 2.00 per day Pay & Display charge by the Forestry Commission. The car parking areas at Sherwood Pines have recently been enlarged.

Service Area - Mansfield Civic Centre

SS5 - Sherwood Pines
Cars will return to Sherwood Pines from 2.00pm and continue until approximately 3.30pm.
Parking is at the Sherwood Pines Visitor Centre which gives easy access to a number of locations on the stage. (Map Ref: 120 / 613639)
Follow the signs off the B6030 into the forest and then follow the signs to the Visitors Car Park.

A 2.00 per day Pay & Display charge by the Forestry Commission.
