Spectators:  2014 Spectator information will be posted a.s.a.p. but the basics are:-

  • First cars starts at 08.45 hrs with the last car around 16.30hrs.
  • Park in the main Sherwood Pines Forest Car Park only.  Pay & Display £4 per day.  Toilets & Cafe
  • NO vehicular access to any other location, especially the Service Area.

Service Area:  The Service Area is a long wide asphalt road and all the cars service on the right hand side. To keep the Service Area manageable for competitors, access is restricted to the competing car plus one support vehicle.  The Final Instructions include a Pass which should be downloaded, filled in and handed to the Marshals controlling access to the Service Area.  They will have a check sheet to ensure that there is only 1 service vehicle per entry.

ALL competition cars must be unloaded in the trailer park which is located on the way into Sherwood Pines. Leave your trailer and any other vehicles in the trailer park. There will be a Security Guard at the exit. Alternatively you can leave other vehicles in the main public Car Park in Sherwood Pines which has 1000+ spaces! Parking is £4 per day pay & display and there are Toilets and Cafe etc.

Documentation:  The A4 sized Road Book will include stage tulips and stage maps with the Stage route identified in Red.  Competition numbers will be on sale from CJ Rallying at Scrutineering on Saturday afternoon.  Hi-Vis numbers for the rear side windows will be supplied by the event. Historics numbered 101+  Slicks Tyres will be at Scrutineering on Saturday afternoon and in the Service Area on Sunday.

Auxiliary Lights:   The final stage is scheduled to start at around 15.45 and sunset on 23rd November is 16.02 so you may want to consider auxiliary lights, but it depends on how good your eyes are!

Overnight Parking:  There is no access or overnight camping in the Service Area.   Overnight camping is permitted at the Saturday Scrutineering venue but there are no toilets or water. There will be a £10 charge for the landowner.

Access to the Service Area during Sunday:  Access to the Service Area is via the stage route and this will be closed at 08.00hrs. Please ensure you bring sufficient fuel and water for the event because there will be no opportunity to leave the Service Area until after SS4, during the stage change round.  This will be via a convoy at around 14.00hrs!
